Die Nutzung der Topo-Rec App ist ohne Angabe von persönlichen Daten möglich.

Die Topoe-Rec App dient in erster Linie dem Erfassen von Punkten und Informationen im Feld, sowie zur Recherche in frei verfügbarem Kartenmaterial.

Mit der App ist es möglich, Fotos zu erfassten Punkten hinzuzufügen. Hierzu ist die Erlaubnis zur Benutzung der Kamera notwendig.

Die App speichert auf Anforderung des Nutzers Dateien auf dem Gerät (Backups, Reports, Exports). Hierzu ist die Erlaubnis zur Benutzung des Gerätespeichern notwendig.

Die App kann sowohl im Vordergrund- als auch im Hintergrundmodus auf den Gerätestandort zugreifen, wenn Sie dies explizit über Tippen auf eines der beiden Symbole (GPS-Modus 1 / GPS-Modus 2) oben rechts in der App einschalten und der App auch die Erlaubnis zum Verwenden des Standortes erteilt haben.

Erneutes Tippen auf eines der Symbole unterbricht die Verbindung zum eingebauten GPS wieder. Der aktuelle Standort wird dann nicht mehr auf der Karte angezeigt und der Akku des Gerätes wird somit entlastet.

Ist GPS-Modus 1 aktiv, versucht die App auf den Standort des Gerätes nur so lange zuzugreifen und diesen anzuzeigen, wie die App sichtbar und das Display eingeschaltet ist.

Ist GPS-Modus 2 aktiv, versucht die App auf den Standort des Gerätes permanent zuzugreifen und diesen anzuzeigen, und zwar solange die App tatsächlich gestartet ist, also wenn die App entweder im Vordergrund oder im Hintergrund (bei ausgeschaltetem Display) läuft. Zusätzlich wird hier ein Track erfasst, welcher nach erneutem Tippen in der App gespeichert wird.

Standortdaten werden von der App nur dann auf dem Gerät als Marker oder Track gespeichert, wenn dies explizit vom Nutzer aktiv initiiert wird. Dies kann entweder über das Marker-Symbol oben erfolgen oder erfolgt automatisch bei aktiviertem GPS-Modus (mit Tracking).

Eine nicht vom App-Nutzer selbst initiierte Weitergabe von gespeicherten Standortdaten an Dritte erfolgt zu keinem Zeitpunkt. Der Nutzer kann die mit der App erfassten Daten allerdings exportieren und später an sich selbst oder Dritte senden oder weiterleiten.

Die App verwendet standardmäßig die Google Maps API, um als Grundkarte die GoogleMaps-Sattelitenkarte anzuzeigen. Hierzu ist es notwendig, dass die Koordinaten des aktuell sichtbaren Bildausschnittes bei jeder Änderung des Ausschnittes an Google gesendet werden.

Es ist möglich in der App unterschiedliche Webmap-Dienste (WMS, WMTS) einzubinden und über der Grundkarte anzuzeigen. Auch hier ist es erforderlich, dass die Koordinaten des aktuellen Bildausschnittes bei jeder Änderung des Ausschnittes an den jeweiligen Anbieter gesendet werden müssen, um das Bildmaterial anzufordern und darstellen zu können.

Sowohl Google, als auch andere Anbieter von Webmap-Diensten, erfassen und speichern im Zuge der Kartenanfragen für den aktuell sichtbaren Bildschirmausschnitt ggf. Daten (z. Bsp. IP-Adresse des anfragenden Gerätes). Die App hat hierauf keinen Einfluss. Es gelten die jeweiligen Datenschutzerklärungen der Anbieter.

Von der App werden nur Daten im Gerät dauerhaft gespeichert, welche für die Funktion der App unbedingt erforderlich sind (Einstellungen), sowie vom Nutzer explizit erhobene und gespeicherte Daten (Fundplätze, Punkte, Tracks, Webmap-Dienste). Darüber hinaus erhebt und speichert die App keine Daten und gibt auch keinerlei Daten an den Hersteller der App oder an Dritte weiter.

The Topo-Rec App can be used without providing any personal data.

The Topoe-Rec app is primarily used to record points and informations in the field, as well as for research in freely available map material.

With the app it is possible to add photos to captured points. This requires permission to use the camera.

The app saves files on the device (backups, reports, exports) at the user's request. Permission to use the device storage is required for this.

The app can access the device location in both foreground and background mode if you explicitly enable this by tapping one of the two icons (GPS Mode 1 / GPS Mode 2) in the top right of the app and have also given the app permission to use the location.

Tapping on one of the icons again interrupts the connection to the built-in GPS. The current location is then no longer displayed on the map and the device's battery is thus relieved.

If GPS mode 1 is active, the app will only try to access and display the device's location as long as the app is visible and the display is on.

If GPS mode 2 is active, the app tries to access and display the device's location permanently, as long as the app is actually started, i.e. when the app is either running in the foreground or in the background (with the display turned off). In addition, a track is recorded here, which is saved after tapping again in the app.

Location data is only saved by the app on the device as a marker or track if this is explicitly initiated by the user. This can either be done via the marker icon at the top or automatically when GPS mode is activated (with tracking).

A disclosure of stored location data to third parties not initiated by the app user himself will not take place at any time. However, the user can export the data collected with the app and later send or forward it to himself or to third parties.

The app uses the Google Maps API by default to display the GoogleMaps saddle map as the base map. For this purpose, it is necessary that the coordinates of the currently visible image section are sent to Google every time the section is changed.

It is possible to integrate different webmap services (WMS, WMTS) in the app and display them over the base map. Here, too, the coordinates of the current image section must be sent to the respective provider each time the section is changed in order to request and display the image material.

Google, as well as other providers of web map services, may collect and store data (e.g. IP address of the requesting device) in the course of map requests for the currently visible screen section. The app has no influence on this. The respective privacy statements of the providers apply.

The app only permanently stores data in the device that is absolutely necessary for the app to function (settings), as well as data explicitly collected and stored by the user (locations, points, tracks, web map services). Beyond that, the app does not collect or store any data, nor does it pass on any data to the app's manufacturer or to third parties.
